Gold Reef Bay

These are attractive bays with excellent shelter from winds from W to N to NE. In strong conditions a stern line is recommended to pull boats close to the western shore. The wind will then pass overhead. The cove between Long Bay and Fern Dale has all weather shelter provided a stern line is used. The anchorage to the south-east of Fern Dale is suitable in N to E winds conditions.
