The Raetihi guest house is situated in this bay. Meals are available by prior arrangement only.
The bay has good anchorage in winds from N to SW and will even provide good anchorage in moderate winds from E to S to SW, however there is poor holding in the fine mud where the stream from the North enters the bay.
The anchorage adjacent to Hopewell is excellent shelter and good holding can be found in SW to NW conditions. There is accommodation available in this bay.
