Harbour Notice 22-2025

Uncharted rocks have been located during survey work in the vicinity of position 41 21.820’ S 174 05.519’ E.

Depths are at 6m below chart datum, and potentially shallower.

Further updates will follow as survey work progresses.

Update 31 October 2025:

It’s been reported additional rocks have been found 450m north of the new shoal area (as marked above). The shallowest points are at the following locations:

• Position: 41° 21.58’ S 174° 5.45’ E / Depth: 2.30m
• Position: 41° 21.60’ S 174° 5.47’ E / Depth: 1.22m

All mariners are advised to navigate with caution.
