Lake Argyle - Closed for power boat club day Saturday 24 January 2026.

Back-up day on Sunday 25 January 2026.

Between 8am and 5pm on 24 January, Lake Argyle is reserved for powerboat racing. A back-up day is on 25 January between 8am and 5pm.

A speed-limit uplifting is also in force, only for vessels involved in the event.

The entire lake is closed to all swimmers and public vessels (including paddlecraft and waterskiers), for everyone’s safety, pursuant to Maritime Rules Part 91.19.
