Queen Charlotte Yacht Club is hosting the Nelson Marlborough Regional Championships.
Up to 90 yachts are expected to be taking part using areas in Picton Harbour and also an area due north of Wedge Point.
All vessels are advised to navigate the area with extreme caution.
