Snake Point to Kurakura Point

The coast here is very sheltered from W to N winds but completely exposed to all other winds.

Spenser Bay, which is south of Kurakura Point, is deep and a good anchorage, but a stern line is necessary as the bottom falls away steeply.

This bay provides shelter from SW to N to NE winds only.

Because the bay faces south-east it does not get very much sun.

There is a combined club mooring in the bay.
