Curious Cove

Gives no shelter in prevailing W to N winds. Curious Cove has calm water in N to S winds but in strong SE to S the wind funnels out of these bays with considerable force. The head of Kahikatea (Curious Cove) is shallow and boats drawing more than one metre should be careful if approaching the wharf here. The bay is open to the ferry wash.

Some holiday batches with private jetties and moorings.
