This is the bay to the west of Houhou Pt.
It provides perfect shelter in SW to N to E winds and this is very pretty with virgin first-generation bush to the water’s edge.
The bay is deep close to shore and there is no difficulty in getting a stern line ashore.
Do not use this in SW to S winds as these blow straight into the bay.

This bay is very scenic and intimate spot that is popular with kayakers and tourist boats.
